Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing training shaped my practice in many ways. It helped me:
1. Elicit change talk from parents/caregivers.
2. Identify barriers and fuel staff motivation.
3. More effectively pair with clients.
4. Increase fidelity, buy in, and generalization across treatment team members.

Natural Environment Teaching
You don't have to choose between Discrete Trial Teaching and Natural Environment Teaching.
Great NET is actually DTT taught within the child's natural learning (often played based) experience.

Mand, Mand, Mand
Mand training is paramount to giving clients a voice. PECS, signs, forced choices, single words, full sentences, etc. Each learner's topography may differ, but the importance is the same.
